Belinda Hartland
Provisional Registered Psychologist

Belinda is a provisionally registered psychologist, working towards general registration. She completed her Master in Professional Psychology at Flinders University in 2023.

Belinda has extensive experience in the Early Childhood years, working as a kindergarten teacher before commencing her psychology studies. She has a passion for the development benefits of play and has had numerous articles published in parenting magazines about how to support play ideas at home. She has also written and presented television segments on developing play ideas.

Belinda enjoys supporting parents in navigating the early years and is able to provide knowledge and ideas about early childhood development, play, behaviour support and parenting coaching. She believes in a collaborative approach and aims to create a safe space to explore her clients’ thoughts, feelings and experience around parenting and childhood. She works closely with children of all ages and their families.

Belinda also enjoys working with adult clients and has a strong interest in hypnotherapy. She has developed skills in the use of hypnosis to support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. Hypnosis can also help with changing habits, pain management, and general well-being.

Belinda uses her hypnotherapy skills along with other therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to achieve positive outcomes for her clients.

Belinda is also skilled in psychological evaluations and conducts psychoeducational, ADHD, autism, and cognitive assessments.
