Prior to your assessment date, we will gather intake information electronically to assist the testing clinician(s) preparations.
Most assessments take approximately 3 hours to complete. Specific guidance will be provided dependent on the type of assessment being conducted.
An optional feedback session to help you understand the results of your assessment is available. A plan for support and implementation going forward will be explained and discussed.
An educational assessment is a comprehensive evaluation that looks at a child, teen, or adult’s learning strengths and challenges. The goal is to understand how the client learns, identify any learning difficulties or disorders (such as dyslexia or dyscalculia), and provide tailored recommendations to support academic success.

As an adult you may experience difficulties when undertaking study, completing daily activities in the workplace, and managing tasks of daily living. As a parent you may notice your child falling behind in school, struggling with reading, writing, or maths, or needing much more time and effort than peers to complete homework. After completing the assessment, you’ll receive a detailed written report outlining you, or your child’s learning profile, test results, and (if applicable) a formal diagnosis of any learning disorders. Most importantly, we provide practical, evidence-based recommendations — these might include learning strategies, classroom adjustments, tutoring options, or referrals for additional services. We also take time to walk you through the results so you feel confident and empowered in you, or your child’s learning journey.
