Dr Julee La Mott is the acting Clinical Director for SA Psychology & Wellness. As a Clinical Psychologist and board approved supervisor, Julee not only provides the highest service to her clients, she also is actively involved in the training and supervision of clinical staff.
Dr La Mott immigrated to Adelaide in 2018. Julee invested 10 years pursuing a highly advanced education, ultimately earning her degree from the University of La Verne clinical doctoral program. Prior to moving to Australia, she ran her own practice, spent several years working in various medical fields, community mental health clinics, university counselling centres, and academic settings.
Dr La Mott supports individual, family, and couples therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. She is a highly skilled clinician and supports patients struggling with disordered eating, anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief and loss, ASD, relationship issues, as well as generalised and complex trauma.
Dr La Mott strives to provide a safe place for clients to explore thoughts, feelings, relationships, and personal experiences. She takes a collaborative approach to therapy and enjoys coming alongside clients to assist them with making lasting changes.
Dr La Mott also possesses extensive experience conducting psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and psychological evaluations.
Dr La Mott is one of a small group of psychologists in Australia with advanced training in the Gottman Method for Couples. She thoroughly enjoys the privilege of getting to know couples and is passionate about assisting couples with improving the quality of their relationships.
