Sophie is a registered psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. She offers a gentle, compassionate, and client-centered approach to therapy, focusing on building a safe and trusting therapeutic environment. Sophie works collaboratively with each client to develop personalised treatment plans that honour their unique experiences and goals.

She has experience working with both young people and adults across a wide range of mental health and well-being concerns. Sophie is passionate about supporting clients through life’s challenges, including but not limited to disordered eating and body image concerns, mood and anxiety disturbances, trauma-related responses, life stressors, chronic illness and pain, sleep difficulties, and neurodivergence, including autism and ADHD.

Her therapeutic style is evidence-based to each client’s needs. With a foundation in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Sophie integrates a range of techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches into her practice.

At SA Psychology and Wellness, Sophie provides therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. She also conducts cognitive, psychoeducational, ADHD, and autism assessments. Committed to creating a warm and supportive environment, she helps clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to improve their well-being.
