Belinda Hartland is a registered psychologist who completed her Master’s in Professional Psychology at Flinders University. She has extensive experience in early childhood, having worked as a kindergarten teacher prior to her psychology studies. Belinda is passionate about the developmental benefits of play, and has published articles and presented television segments on supporting play ideas at home.
Belinda enjoys supporting parents in navigating the early years, providing knowledge and ideas about child development, play, behaviour support, and parenting coaching. She believes in a collaborative approach and aims to create a safe space for exploring thoughts, feelings, and experiences around parenting and childhood. Belinda works closely with children of all ages and their families.
She also enjoys working with adult clients and has a strong interest in hypnotherapy, and is currently undertaking certification in this area. She uses hypnosis to support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, habit change, pain management, and general wellbeing, integrating hypnotherapy with other therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to achieve positive outcomes.
Belinda is skilled in psychological evaluations and conducts psychoeducational, ADHD, autism, and cognitive assessments. She is committed to providing a supportive and collaborative environment for clients and families.
